EVCA: Describe a defining moment in your career and how it shaped where you are today.

Taylor: A defining moment in my career was when I successfully helped launch and close two separate first-time funds in the same year, the first institutional Plug & Play Supply Chain Fund, and Tenacity Venture Capital, leading and co-leading pre-seed and seed stage investments, before the age of 25.  I believe this gave me the confidence to find creative ways to source and win deals and authentically relate to founders. Today, I can call on previously backed founders and LPs for increased dealflow and portfolio support, whether it is driving leads or introducing the next key hire.

EVCA: What is an emerging technology trend that will have a significant impact on the world in the next decade?

Taylor: An emerging technology trend that will have a significant impact on the world in the next decade revolves around technology enhancing productivity levels at work by such an order of magnitude that the working class will spend less time on their phones after work and more time focused on interpersonal connection and the building of the community around them.
